Farmerskart was born as an idea while its founder was perusing his master’s in food sciences in New Zealand. He was intrigued by the quality of fruits and vegetables back in New Zealand and compared the accessibility of quality fresh produce back in India
That’s when he started getting to the roots of the fresh produce supply chain, connecting to hundreds of farmers, spending days and nights in the local farmer markets across the country and then and there he decided to give up a lucrative well settled job as a food auditor in New Zealand and made it a mission to make the fresh fruits and vegetables easily accessible to the Indian table.
